Frequently Asked Questions
What happens after I submit a privacy request?
After you submit the request, a human reviews your request, and we respond with next steps (access/export, correction, or deletion). Most requests are handled within a few business days, depending on complexity. For anything urgent, email hello@localhost.
Which cookies do you use—and can I control them?
We use three types:
Essential (site works, security)
Analytics (product improvement)
Marketing (only if you opt in)
You can change your preferences anytime in our cookie banner or Cookie Policy.
Do you sell or rent my data?
No. We don’t sell or rent customer data. We use vetted service providers (sub-processors) to run Outkeep, and they can only process data to deliver our service under a signed DPA.
How do you choose sub-processors?
Each provider goes through security and privacy due-diligence (scope, access, safeguards, DPA). We keep a current list in the Trust Center and update it when providers change or new ones are added.
Where is my data stored and how is it protected?
We host with reputable cloud infrastructure. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and access is role-based and audited. See our DPA for details on processing, retention, and cross-border transfers.
